Hey there! Thanks for including me in your health and fitness journey and trusting me as your personal trainer. I'm excited to help you reach your fitness goals and have a blast while doing it!
To make sure everything runs smoothly, here's a summary of my policies:
- Sessions are typically 60 minutes, so please try to be on time. We'll still end at our scheduled time if you're late, so we can both stay on schedule. However, if you're more than 15 minutes late, it'll be considered a no-show, and you'll be charged for the session.
- I get that sometimes things come up, so please let me know at least 24 hours in advance if you need to cancel an appointment. If you cancel less than 24 hours before the session or don't show up for a scheduled session, unfortunately, I won't be able to offer a refund for that session.
- I know emergencies happen. I provide every client with one free short-notice cancellation. You won't be charged for your first cancellation with less than 24 hours notice. Any subsequent short-notice cancellations will be charged for the session. The free short-notice cancellation only applies if I was notified prior to the session start time. No-shows are not eligible for the free cancellation.
- If I have to cancel a session due to unforeseen circumstances or illness, I'll give you the option to reschedule or get a full refund. I want to make sure you get the most out of our time together.
- And finally, if you're ever not satisfied with the training you receive (this never happens), please let me know, and I'll make it right. Your success is important to me!

By using my services, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
- Payment: All personal training sessions must be booked and paid for in advance.
- Cancellation and Rescheduling: If you need to cancel or reschedule a session, please let me know at least 24 hours in advance to receive a full refund. If a cancellation is made with less than 24 hours notice, you will be charged the full price of the session. If I need to cancel a session, I'll offer you the option to reschedule or receive a full refund. Of course, things happen, but please give me 24 hours notice of any cancellations. Otherwise, it will count as a session.
- Health and Safety: It's super important that you let me know about any health conditions or injuries that might affect your training. You should also consult a healthcare professional before starting any new exercise program. If you feel dizzy, lightheaded, or experience any pain during a session, please stop the activity and let me know. Please follow all of my instructions and safety guidelines.
- Liability: Your safety is my top priority. By using my services, you acknowledge that you're engaging in physical activity and that there is a risk of injury. You assume all risks and liabilities associated with the personal training session. I'm not responsible for any injuries or damages that may occur during the training session.
- Indemnification: You agree to indemnify and hold me harmless from any and all claims, damages, expenses, and costs (including attorney's fees) arising out of or related to your use of my personal training services.
- Confidentiality: As a personal trainer, I may be privy to sensitive personal information about you. I will keep all of your information confidential and will not share it with any third parties unless required by law.
- Changes to Services: I reserve the right to make changes to my services, including but not limited to pricing, availability, and location, at any time and with
48 hour prior notice. I also reserve the right to refuse service to any client for any reason. I may also modify or terminate the training session at any time for any reason. - Electronic Communications: By using my personal training services, you consent to receiving electronic communications from me, such as emails, texts, or other messaging services. You agree that all agreements, notices, disclosures, and other communications that I provide to you electronically satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing.
- Dispute Resolution: In the unlikely event that we have a disagreement, let's work together to find a solution that we're both happy with. We agree to first try to resolve the dispute through mediation. If mediation doesn't work, we may need to seek help from an arbitrator or a court of law.
- Governing Law: These terms and conditions will be applied and interpreted based on the laws of the province of Ontario, Canada. These laws will be used, even if they are different from the laws of other places.
- Entire Agreement: These terms and conditions constitute the entire agreement between us and supersede any prior agreements or understandings, whether written or oral.
